Dr. Tom Tatum

Pastor Tatum grew up in Alcoa, TN. He was saved at the age of 9 and received his calling to ministry as a sophomore at Lee College. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Lee College, a Master of Divinity from the Church of God School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He has pastored 3 churches, served as an Evangelist and has served the Church of God in the field of Education since 1993. He accepted the position of Senior Pastor at East Belmont Church of God in 2008. He is also currently a Professor at Lee University, and served in various roles at East Coast Bible College. He serves on the U.S.A. Missions Board, and chairs the CAMS program for the Church of God Western North Carolina.

Pastor Tatum married Betty in 1971 and in addition to their son and daughter-in-law, they have two fantastic grandchildren.
